About

Oliver grew up in Central Oregon and graduated from Bend High before going on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Southern California. He later trained as a paramedic at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut and studied nursing at Central Oregon Community College. He currently supports frontline caregivers at St. Charles Family Care and Immediate Care in La Pine as RN Supervisor of Clinical Operations. View his full resume here.

Beyond his paid work, Oliver also makes time to give back to the communities where he lives and works through various volunteer commitments. He enjoys providing community education on subjects ranging from safe carseat installation to CPR and bleeding control. He also serves on several boards and committees, including:

When he is not working or volunteering, Oliver enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife, Amy, have two children, Dean and Sylvia, who attended Silver Rail Elementary prior to transitioning to Bend-La Pine Online during the coronavirus pandemic.

Like Oliver, Amy also works in healthcare and gives back to the community. She is a Nurse Practitioner providing primary care across the life span at a family practice in Redmond.
